I'll never buy a shark robot vac again. They are cheap, but that's because they're cheap. I've had 3 die on me be cause of physical part breakage... plastic tabs snapping off where they hold the springs, wheel assembly cracking, etc, all from normal usage. They're just not made to last.

In contrast to this, I've had a Shark auto-emptying robot vac running on hard floors with some area rugs in a country home where dirt is constantly being tracked. I set it up with HomeAssistant to run four times a day, and it's been going strong for over a year, every day. I did replace the roller recently, but that is a part that is designed to be replaced.
We aren't especially "nice" to it, sometimes pushing it onto its stand with our feet or otherwise manhandling it. I'm actually surprised by how not-broken it is.
The little side-brush whisker things get pretty wrecked with this kind of usage, but I think that's to be expected. My only other complaint is that we have a lot of small bits of debris, like cardboard about a square cm in size, and these will get stuck in the flap between the robot and the auto empty bin. The robot will empty, but then it will throw an error before it does its next cleaning run.
For this price, assuming it has lidar, I'd definitely purchase.
