Found one of the two BS listed in North Las Vegas... high on a shelf w/ all the other Makita products. Dude said the other was probably a display. Still happy to have one! Thanks OP!

No luck for me. BS said 2 in store and on clearance but could not find it anywhere. Checked the top of the aisles too.
Go back a check again brickseek is been really up to date on the quantities it said my store had 3 I went and no one could help me locate them they said they were out of stock I look all over and found all 3 hidden on the last rack I asked for help and employees wanted to just take one because they were going to buy the other too I said you lied to me and no want me to just take 1 hell no,I took all 3 I don't need them but I took them!!
Brickseek showed limited quantity clearance at a local store on my laptop. When I got to the store and pulled it up on my phone on Brickseek it no longer showed it, not even in the sold out list. I still had a look. It was on the floor next to the other compressors with a clearance $114 sticker on it. I could not scan it with the Home Depot app. Took it to the register, they also had trouble scanning it but finally the UPC worked, $58.
So they where not discounted, but rang up at $58. Brickseek showed $229?
This is my third sweet Slickdeals + Brickseek + Home Depot deal (I previously got a dremel tool thing, and a nice DeWalt battery operated finish nail gun on a major sale too). So, for anyone wondering, this is what is looks like on Brickseek:
- the stores that had 5+ of them in stock showed $229 and in-stock
- the stores with no stock showed out-of-stock.
- the stores with the huge discounts show "Clearance" but Brickseek doesn't have a price and they have a disclaimer that they don't know if the inventory even exists or whether it has been or will be discounted.
I just took a rushed trip to Home Depot each time when I saw something like this pop up on Slickdeals, and it has worked out for me both times. Usually (like in this case), there is only 1 or 2 of them left in the store, and you have to hunt around the lower and upper shelves or end-displays for it.
Edit: for the dremel tool I actually discovered that discount accidentally at Home Depot checkout because I was going to buy it anyway. I ended up posting it to Slickdeals as my first post and it made the front page!
Another Edit: store employees have a smartphone-like device on which they can look up the item by SKU number, and it shows that store's price. So you can just ask someone and they will tell you whether they have any of them and what the price actually is. Ex: it showed $58 on the associate's screen in this case.

I snagged one in the Virginia Beach area for $58 plus tax. It was with the other air compressors but didn't have a price above it. I took it to the register to have them price check it. Even the clerk was surprised. Thanks OP!
Is it the one on lynnhaven pkwy? Any chance there's one more in that store? Did brickdeal show availability when you find?
Nvm, you answered them, save me a trip as well
One of the stores near me shows clearance, but OOS
What if I order for in store pick up using HD online at the store that shows clearance, then once I pick it up at the store return it… go back a few mins later tell the person at CS I changed my mind I wanna buy it again, and try to check out that way??
Will it ring up for a clearance price because that model is in a clearance store? Or what makes some stores show clearance and others not….
