If you despise these kinds of snacks so much, why do you even bother clicking on this deal? Trying to convince the world how educated you are about nutrition? We all know they're not great for you. Get a life.

Anyone receive bags of Doritos that are completely stale. It seems like every time I order the Doritos, anywhere from 5 to 10 bags are stale in each box. A few times, some bags didn't even have chips! Their quality control seems pretty bad.

The bulk packs get the packaging rejects. Part of why they are half the price or less. I once filed a complaint on this very issue with PepsiCo (who apparently owns FritoLay), while the process of filing a complaint is tedious, I received a personalized response the next day followed by coupons that more than made up for it. One of the best customer experiences I've had with such a large company.

I stopped ordering these after multiple orders of the Doritos with the same issue. It seems the 1 ounce bags have awful quality control, but buying the bulk box with the larger size 2+ ounce bags had excellent quality control and tasted fresh. Amazon always makes it right if you tell them you got stale food and/or deflated bags, but I don't bother anymore. I got them last via Subscribe and Save back in 2020 for $9.50, so it's now a 40-50% price increase versus prices from a few years ago depending on what discount level you're getting. I believe Ruffles were in the $10-11 range last year, so this post doesn't seem like a deal at all for either product (why it hit front page is completely beyond me).
