(Usually, I can hear my music through BT across the gym with a cheap phone & $10 buds - while a $1600 PC still requires that my Bose headset be within 3 FEET of the damn thing, Any version Winblows) Thanks in advance, ready for better audio!
It's not Windows fault. It's likely your motherboard or USB BT Adapter's that is the problem from the sound of it. Not all Bluetooth adapters whether in a phone or computer are created equal, and if the signal is low, then Bluetooth module could be faulty on your computer or you need to just install the right drivers.
I have used Bluetooth for gaming and for conference calls for work for years with no issues on most of the computers with all different headsets.
