Just wanted to say I bought this back in 2017 for $30 and it is still working as it should 5 years later.

Taken it to the river, beach, woods and the back deck and it's still kicking.

I did get a neoprene sleeve for it to be able to clip it to backpacks. I would say it has been worth every penny.

For the price, this is a steal. These can link together to create surround sound too. I've used 3 linked together and they work great. Can't believe they're under $20 a piece. Basically beach trip throw away for that price, but durable enough that you don't have to throw away.
