I wouldn't expect to do much with the microphone unless you are literally just sitting at a desk in a quiet room, but the speakers themselves sound good for their size and the battery holds up well too.
Overall I'd say the main selling point is the portability without sounding like crap. There are smaller, more portable speakers out there, but they will almost certainly sound worse. And anything that sounds significantly better is going to need bigger drivers and a bigger battery. This hits a really good point of being portable enough to throw in a pocket but also sounding good enough that you can actually understand people talking without significant concentration.
