They partner with repair places. So it's not a Google repair center...its Joe's Repair that is an authorized repair shop. My closest is 30mins away. I think I'll be returning instead.
Ah! I get it now. Thanks, I am measurably better-informed right now. Smilie

I ordered the 4GB plan, but my order is on its way to me. Can I upgrade to the 10GB plan prior to porting in my number and activation?

Edit: Fixed typo
I know in the past trying to upgrade a promo plan is difficult, you can't do it via your account as usual so you have to reach out to customer service. I believe you have to pay the difference for the whole 12 months and not just the 6, but maybe you'll get a good rep.

I noticed it doesn't come with a charger, just a usb-c cable and a usb-c to a adapter. Can I just use any old wall charger, like from a previous phone, on this thing or do I need something special?
You can use any charger, even your computer, but for regular charging you want a USB-C charger with PD support, which will allow the adaptive charging feature to work and also be able to fast charge other times. Adaptive charging can significantly extend the life of the battery (assuming you set it up and take advantage of it).

Have any existing mint customer gotten customers service to apply the 6 months to their current plan?
You have like a 0.1% chance.

Phone arrived today. I opened it up and started it and......colors are all washed out. So I googled it and evidently it's an issue. I contacted Google support and they want me to take it to a repair center. My moto g8 power looks way better. I wish I knew about this issue b4.
It's normal for the pixel 7 a replacement won't be different, I think Google made the display color profile similar to iPhones as they also have more natural less vibrant displays as well.

My second pixel 7 order from 3/4 now has a fedex tracking label created, should be here in 2 days. Pondering on cancelling the order, as I definitely don't need two sims with 12 mos of service each and not sure I need another pixel 7.

EDIT: I cancelled the second order - hopefully it helps others who are still waiting. BTW if anyone needs the sim / plan from my first order, please let me know.
If it already has a label printed, you'll probably end up getting the phone.

Sure it wasn't just cold? Any better after warming to room temp? Not as big of an issue with OLED but certainly could impact it.

If not I would ask Mint for an exchange or return. You have 7 days so I wouldn't waste time on a repair center on a brand new phone.

If you haven't gotten a tracking number download the FedEx app and input the same information you used to place your order with and you should see a tracking number and delivery date there. They also require a signature for the package.

Just got my Pixel 7 setup. What a deal! Running T-Mobile with no issues whatsoever. Deal is legit if you have any worries about being unlocked. As far as using the mint mobile service deal that comes with the phone... Well someone else will have to be the horsey's mouth. Very happy here. Thanks again OP!

I appear to have gotten a new phone number without having to port in, though I'm not sure how long it will last.

I tried porting in an old Boost number that I got from a different deal awhile back, that is expiring in a few days, and while inputting the account/pin info into the Mint app, I made a typo,

The app replied back that the number could not be ported so assigned me a "temporary" phone number instead (which is actually a nice number...ends with a zero, which I always like).

So far, I can make calls and receive texts on the number provided. If this number lasts, I'm gonna keep it, even though it probably means I'll only get 6 months instead of 12.

Paid $3 to unlock a google voice number. Ported it in. Took about 10 min. It does prompt for port in number. If that is delayed it asks if you want to be assigned a new number while you wait. But, there is no getting around the prompt for port number in the app. The app notes you can call Customer Service to take a six month option for new number. I'm not sure how long you can keep the new number if you put in some fake information for the port in, or give a real number but wrong account information.

well crap, my safelink VZW sim didn't work. "This device is already active. It cannot be used for this transaction." Shows tracfone but no connection. I'm already missing my S20+ but it's stuck on android 13 -

Update, calls work, it just took a few hours for the safelink calls to kick in. And text worked shortly after that. No need for CSR.
