This collection is missing really good Atari games. Maybe, just maybe worth $20

This is an awesome package if you have any interest at all in the history of video games. It might sound weird, but the real value is more in the presentation than the games. It's probably better to think of as an interactive documentary or museum tour than just a games collection. I honestly didn't play any of the games for very long - some of them I literally messed around with for only a couple of minutes to see what they were like - but just having them there as context as you go through the timeline and see how the technology developed is really incredible. I would love to see other games companies take this approach to packaging up their retro games.

Heard this is the benchmark for all future nostalgia collections. Apparently incredible historical extras and features. Shame it's not digital, I'd pick it up.

Digital Xbox version is $40.

Looks great, but my backlog stinks. Will wait for cheaper digital vs Game pass

I have the Xbox version. 1. The way they present the games and history is awesome. 2. These are some old games some really fun some not. 3. There are a TON of games that use a paddle originally or a trackball. But for whatever reason on the Xbox they did NOT enable mouse support. This is a bummer. Not sure if the PC version supports a mouse but if it does, go get that version.

Is everyone so lazy they don't like loading discs anymore? At least I can sell this copy later. Still waiting for $20. Can't wait to watch the extras.

The title should be updated to detail the 2 vendors and different systems (not just Switch).

Wow. I totally prefer physical. It's not locked to a device, and so isn't impacted when the digital store goes down and your device dies. Also, you can loan it out or even sell it. I'm all about digital for movies and music, but not for games.

I was the same until recently.
The ease of opening and closing games with quick resume, being able to play on my living room Series X then den Series S seamlessly is a boon.
Plus packing up my Steam library is kind of fun, as well.

I think it's an evolution of giving up physical media; gave up music CD's long ago; movies/shows DVD's/blurays are no longer a thing later; Games is eventual.
