Not sure it's worth the wait & extra cost, but FYI, new release coming out with more games (39 if I'm reading it correctly): https://www.bestbuy.com/site/atar...Id=6588798

If it has MegaMania, I'm buying a switch. Best game Atari 2600 had, 40plus years, still waiting to play it again.

This should be a free update if you buy this game. Unless you want them all physically on one cart.

Hey it comes with Vctr Sctr, I enjoyed that little retro-ish gem when I bought this on Steam

FYI. I picked this up on Steam for just under $5 a few weeks back. Not saying it isn't worth $20 on the Switch. Just good to know the Switch/Physical tax when deciding where to buy. Haven't played it yet so can't comment on the game itself.

Unless you grew up on these games and are extremely nostalgic for them, the actual gameplay quality has aged extremely poorly over the years!
I would say the vast majority of Atari games are essentially unplayable at this point

Wasn't that determined to be the worst game ever made by Atari?

This is an absolutely great stroll though Atari's history. I would argue this sets the bar in how these collections should be done. If you have any interest in Atari, this is a no brainer.

Some considerations. You don't get to play with original controllers, so you could go get an Atari 2600+ or flashback and enjoy those controllers.

Regarding the 50 collection, I really wish they would release a paddle controller. There are quite a few games that played with a paddle type controller that are just not the same with an analog stick. Or at least make it compatible with a mouse.
