I had a pair of Danner hiking boots that were supposedly Gore-Tex, but they leaked like crazy. Terrible boots and for that reason, I'll never buy Danner again.

Good luck finding anything if you wear a size above 11.5. Typical Danner sale, just letting go of old stock. Surprised the Logger 917s are on sale but it looks like mostly just the ugly versions.

Any shoe sale is going to be limited on sizes, surprised to see some common sizes still in stock. I feel like Danner might not be cracked up to it's reputation these days though based on reviews both personal and online.

That's a given, but I've never seen a Danner sale that had size 12 and up boots (unless it's like a size 14) since those are the most common sizes. Even Red Wings you can find a sale in common sizes.

I do agree that they've kind of been coasting on their reputation the past couple of years. Still the Logger 917 is a solid boot. Everything else on sale is pretty much overpriced junk. They make a handful of solid boots and a then a ton of overpriced fluff.

Their quality and comfort have really gone downhill since they sold the company. Danner and Ecco were always my go to.
