Seems the possible lowest ever for this was $1099 back in 2020 per looking at prior threads.

Just quickly googling it seems like ppl prefer the New Age Pro over the Bold (thicker gauge metal). As far as the comparison to Husky
I've heard Husky cabinets may be more prone to denting.

I'm deliberating getting a system like this, trying to diy build something out, or have something custom built. Right now I have a bunch of those wire racks and our garage is a mess it would be nice to hide the mess and tidy it up. We can't park a car in there currently hahaha
24 Gauge metal and 18" deep. It's good for the price, but if you are going to do all the work to put them in, I'd get the Pro set. I'm really enjoying my Pro set. Deeper and super heavy duty.
This was my reply to someone who posted a deal that Costco was offering the 12piece Newage bold set for $1499 on 4-30-21. My opinions haven't changed from my previous response, so I figured I'd just do a cut and paste. But keep in mind, my thoughts were based on the 12 piece set for $1299, back in the good ole' days before everything went crazy.

It comes down to color. Husky is better bang for buck. Wife satisfaction towards neweage. I went with newage because i can get it in white. I don't want a black garage.

What's the depth and metal thickness of the pro set?

New age comes already built, the husky cabinets I've seen and purchased you had to put together yourself. I have this set with the full bottom, bold series and not one dent or scratch in the 5 years I've owned them. Unless you need the depth or are slamming stuff into them, the bold hold up just fine and are substantially cheaper than the pro.

Damn. I just bought a Husky rolling workbench for $500. Another $600 and I can get a whole set. I like the 24" depth instead of 18".....what to do

Bought a used older Bold series last year and it has been under the rain since bought because im not done finishing the garage walls yet. And WOW it is holding up pretty well! No dents whatsoever from previous owner. If you dont need the heavy duty thickness, this is good for the regular DIY Weekend Warrior like me

18 gauge (twice the thickness) and 24" deep. Most are too heavy for a single person to move.

I use newage pro for my main setup (workbench and drawers) and use 2x bold series cabinets for shoes near the door. I bought extra shelves to make them work better as a shoe rack. Wife was very happy with it & the garage gets compliments. Worthy investment and will easily last 10+ years

How comes it not showing me the price and not allowing me to purchase? I'm located in Los Angeles. This is the same for all color variations. Am I doing something wrong?

Start with renting a dumpster and getting rid of all those "I may need to use it later" items.
Took me two days, and few heavy-duty shelves are more than enough now.
