I hoped for a 4K release for the 10th Anniversary on Christmas 2022 but it may take a bit longer. Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Inglourious Basterds, and Once Upon A Time In Hollywood are the only 4K QT movies released so far iirc. Smilie

Seems to me it's a fantasy movie based on switching around the power dynamic between slave owners and those enslaved. It certainly deals with racial issues. And if it brings up anger to see this portrayed then that's useful for you to be aware of. Every human can have "racist" tendencies, so I guess any form of art can reflect that back at you.

Do you remember if it was Vudu only or did it also give you an iTunes option?

I don't remember but I feel like iTunes was an option. I'm not much of an Apple user so I opted for Vudu.

If it helps, you redeem the code on movieredeem dot com. Fine print says 'redeemable only in the U.S. at movieredeem dot com for digital video playback on a single digital service provider's platform.'

The back of my Blu-Ray case says 'Includes Digital Copy. Code may not be valid after 2021.' I was worried I missed out but redeemed it no problem in 2022. Hopefully folks in 2023 have no problem there. Smilie Same regarding The Hateful Eight Blu-Ray.

Thanks. Yeah I as because it's Lionsgate, but some of the newer Lionsgate releases are limited to Vudu redemption only. I know the Jason Statham 6 film and Expendables 3 film blu-rays were limited to Vudu only.

the movie was essentially a superhero origin story movie. he even got his costume..movie works effectively well that way. qt flips genres on their heads constantly and Django did this exceptionally well.
