these resellers aren't matching Amazon, they're instead revising their prices in accordance with Denon's sale price: https://www.denon.com/en-us/produ...avr-s570bt

Important highlights. . .It's HDMI 2.1 with 4 in and 1 out, no phono input and no ATMOS and no Wi-Fi if matters to you. A reviewer mentioned needing tv to setup also. There is no secondary stereo output like many higher end have (to another room). It's budget.

I get annoyed with products saying 8k and just say HDMI 2.1 which is more important to me to know.

I bought this to replace my ~5 y/o Sony receiver that died and it slotted right in and met my needs. The only issue I had was that my cable box would randomly drop signal and I would have to re-plug the HDMI cable to get it back. Tried swapping to newer cables since the original one was pretty old and thought I had the issue resolved, but then it started dropping audio and I would have to cycle inputs to get it back. Got pretty annoying when it did it multiple times in a row while switching channels so I ended up returning it.

Bought this from Newegg last time around for $300 with the $40 promo gift card included. Pretty nice basic receiver if you don't need analog video.

HOWEVER... I am unable to control this receiver from my Google TV remote as none of the Denon IR codes work.

Why wouldn't you run the cable box to the TV, and use the eARC to the receiver?

I am trying to replace my Yamaha rxv867 but I would be downgrading power and channels to get 4k and newer codes. Nah

Oh I did that too, but it would still randomly drop sound.

Great deal and price, I would have potentially upgraded from my Sony AVR but this model lacks Atmos. I have been using previous setup for 4/5 years now. Only downside with my Sony is lack of HDMI 2.1; I I have to direct connect my 2.1 devices to the tv (Xbox series x, Ps5, ATV)
