these resellers aren't matching Amazon, they're instead revising their prices in accordance with Denon's sale price: https://www.denon.com/en-us/produ...avr-s570bt

Important highlights. . .It's HDMI 2.1 with 4 in and 1 out, no phono input and no ATMOS and no Wi-Fi if matters to you. A reviewer mentioned needing tv to setup also. There is no secondary stereo output like many higher end have (to another room). It's budget.

I get annoyed with products saying 8k and just say HDMI 2.1 which is more important to me to know.

I use a Denon 4700H so I have 9.2 channels of Dolby Digital Atmos in my home theater. The front HDMI port is nice. The eARC pass through is a nice feature. The iPhone app makes it easy to control audio - and the Audyssey balanced and performed all the room correction. It's a totally dynamic and immersive gaming and movie experience- I'm mean of there are bullets flying over your head- it sounds like bullets are flying over your head. That's why you need a receiver ……

They really don't. Not everyone has the space and ability to hang surround sound speakers and run wires all over. The good sound bar is more than sufficient for most people

I agree, I have one AVR that's setup for Atmos connected to my LG C1 and all other TV's have soundbars. The convenience and improved audio with a soundbar was worth it to me vs hardwiring speakers in bedrooms. 1 AVR to 3 soundbars 2 with Atmos speakers.

I like them both and most of the household didn't find enough difference for us to go avr in office and master. Again anecdotal and I don't consider myself an audiophile.

No heos on this model. Hoping to get one with that and have music sync between my current basement denon receiver and my family room setup.

"HDMI 2.1" is utterly meaningless because they made the enhancements over HDMI 2.0 optional features so manufacturers could slap a bigger number on their old products.

HDMI 2.1 supports a maximum transmission bit rate of 48 Gbps, compared with HDMI 2.0's mere 18 Gbps. It's not a bigger number just slapped on products. 😂 It to support higher data throughput….
