Got mine today. Tall tripod isn't bad, ring light is decently bright, the little tripod has a bluetooth clicker you can use as a camera trigger and a fitting that is made for "action cams" (aka gopro).

The ring light has a phone gooseneck but the smart thing is there are 3 mount points. Which means in landscape mode, you can pick an offset mount that puts the camera nearer to the center of the ring. Honestly, the ring light is more solid that I expected. It's just plastic, but it doesn't flex or feel like total junk. Just be careful of the power cord as it doesnt look replacable. Which is USB, so you could run this off a power bank.

Durability wise, I suspect the phone holders will die pretty quick but they use standard tripod screws so that should be replaceable cheaply. The tall tripod uses a "fold back" leg design so when that one clamp slips, it can just fold up on you. I would be prepared to add a second clamp (maybe a hose clamp) to keep that from happening. Just don't over tighten it or you'll crush the tube.

Green screen is polyester, says it prefers dry cleaning (shah, right, not gonna happen), can be machine washed on cold, ironed on cool, do NOT use dryer or bleach. (Feel like that last part is obvious but then again...)

I figure if it give the neices/nephews a pizza's worth of enjoyment (and me some quiet), it's a total win. (Honestly the ring light might see use in holiday decorations)

Doesn't matter if it's $1 or $1,000 green screen. If you light it correctly, no one gives a shit. Let alone your video software. Yeah the lights probably got a low CRI if any at all and kind of just a gimmick but for 15 bucks I'll take the tripod attached to it as well as the mini one that comes with it. I bought three of these and I had a show on cable television. A deal is a deal and a poor craftsman blames his tools.

Of course a poor craftsman blames his tools, he's poor so he has bad tools. He can't afford good tools.
I took it as the craftsman produced poor quality work.

Calling yourself an "influencer" is bad for the business of influencing people to buy things. It's "content creator" now.

Great deal - in for 2! Zoom mtgs are not ending any time soon, I make content for myself and for others so more light options the better - plus, it is way more portable than my professional light setup! I've got a 10" & 12" ring already and they really do work well in a clutch & then some. Excited to see if the larger circumference of the ring changes anything. Will be nice to have RGB options. Maybe if I use the strobe options people will finally lay off me not wanting my video on during zooms 😂Everything else in this kit a bonus! Aside from some specific companies, most ring lights sold on Amazon seem to have similar features and durability. I got the other two on deep discounts but still this deal beats them hands down! TBD, maybe I'll do an unboxing video - ones up on YouTube left me wanting

whats good software for starter?
DaVinci Resolve [blackmagicdesign.com] would be the top-end professional app. It's free for personal use. But it might be a bit overwhelming for a first-timer.

Microsoft's ClipChamp [clipchamp.com] actually isn't all that bad of a piece of software for being free and easy to get into.

Adobe Express [adobe.com] is also in the game with a free video editor.

TechSmith's Camtasia [techsmith.com] is what I've been using for years. It's not free, but for what it offers, it's not exactly expensive either. I just got a new workstation PC, so I'm going to start learning DaVinci Resolve also.

I'm getting pick-up at local store today as an option. Anybody see if in-store is actually less??? Sometimes the in-store clearance is better so wondering if I should go in and hunt for thisinstead.

We just called those people sales reps. Ultimately, that's what you're doing right? Doing an infomercial like at 3am but instead you do all the work and they only have to pay one person instead of a crew. Call it what you want, but I wouldn't take the term to heart. Huckster is a more apt title I think.

The most basic specs are missing:
- How many Watts?
- How many lumens?
- What's the CRI?

Otherwise cheap enough for just the trinkets, even if the light is crap.

Other thing that can be done is get those $1 white poster board paper and tape 2 of them on the wall.

The site travel.state.gov site also has a place where you can upload a picture, crop it, and it will show a check mark if good, then download the cropped approved picture.
Seriously, just shoot it against the green and then key it out to white. That's it. Just change the green to white and you will also have a clean key to get the perfect picture. No need to buy anything else.
