LG and Samsung appliance parts are difficult to find
You aren't lying. In 2017 inherited a house with a Samsung fridge, mfg in 2011. It was crappy. Put up with it until finally wanting it serviced in 2018 as the temps were always off when it got hot outside. Called appliance folks and when I said Samsung they all went on their rant of how Samsung and LG are hard to repair due to their parts and blah blah blah. I hit up Samsung directly and paid to have an authorized tech reach out to me. They came by and stated that there's only two companies in Oklahoma, and that their company specifically service Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Kansas.

Think about that!

Now, if you live in a populous state this likely is a boring story as you may have triple the options as someone who lives in a state with 3M folks like me....but damn, I live in the most populous area and got "lucky" to repair the damn fridge!

As everyone told me to go with the Kitchaid family I got a fridge and dishwasher in that family. May break as fast as the Samsung/LG, but the thought process told to me by 5+ repair folks is that they can at least get parts!

Damn that's a good deal, wish there was some way to search nearby zip codes somewhere. I'd consider a bit of a drive to snag that deal!

I've never clicked on one of these costco washer/dryer deals and it was actually available in my zip code. I'm happy for the lucky few that supposedly got this deal but it's unclear there ever was anyone.

YouTube it and get generic parts on Amazon. If you're not in warranty it usually isn't hard. I have repaired everything with YouTube and sometimes it is like 1 hour or less and $20. So worth it

This shows in-stock but is $2799 for the pair. I would think this is same price across the US

Heck of a deal if you have one in stock. I bought the exact items on September last year at $2,099 and has been served me well.

You're not wrong…LG and Samsung appliances have a shorter lifespan than Whirlpool and Kitchenaid. They're like Fords, they look cool and are fun to drive, but you're always fixing them. Now if you'd excuse me I need to go replace a broken part on my F150 outside.
