    I personally would refrain from the official xbox headsets, I think they're pretty poor build quality and I've heard the max volume is fairly low. I would stick to steel series or hyperx for budget headsets. This is probably the best $20 xbox compatible headset on the market, but I am no expert

    I have the wireless version of these headphones and they're awesome. I'm not an audiophile so if you're particularly picky there may be something to dislike, but for general use and gaming I really like these headphones. For $50 less than the wireless version, if you can deal with a cord these are really good.
