FYI: Although the "2023 Line On Us P6" should only apply to people on the Magenta Max plan with no preexisting free lines, their system is allowing many people with existing free lines on Max to get the promo.

I have the Magenta Max Military plan and after chatting with a rep on the app they said since I have a, discounted plan I was not qualified, and trying to add a line says it'll be 20 bucks a month. So I doubt it will work for such plans.
The website will always display the non-discounted price even if you were eligible. It's applied by the system after the order and a number is assigned. But, yeah, most likely our plans are not eligible this time around.
Can you use this offer with a current cell phone offer ex: add a line for 800 off a s23+?

I chatted with them in app and they said my Magenta Amplified did not qualify but they're reaching out to a higher support tier and will let me know for sure tomorrow. Sounds unlikely though.
Is it possible to get buy2 get 1 free along with this free line to make it four lines as a new customer?
There's a good chance of a "yes" but you're going to have to bite the bullet and just do it and see what happens. Sign up for the 3 lines for $140. Since those are new lines, might as well take advantage of whatever phone deals they offer[t-mobile.com] such as free Galaxy S23+ or the various iPhone offers (with port-in or phone trade-in, etc.). Then the next day, add a line yourself and hope it picks up this free line offer (as it should since it's all automatic in their system if you meet requirements which your new account should).
Take the above with a grain of salt; it's my opinion based on closely following most of the past free line deal threads over the past few years.

Will this work for ported number?
Also, I currently have 5 lines (including 1 free) on Magenta Max, can I swap the new number for another number, say line 4 on the account that I'd like to keep, so eventually I can cancel the new line and stop end up with 2 free lines instead of 1 of 5?
So I tried doing it online and received an error concerning security and not verifying identity (I did not have this issue during the December promo). It said to call or go to store.
So i called and they said they would credit me back the $35+tax on my bill, so I proceeded. At the last step, they got the same error message. They said i must go to the store. However, i already know the store will not credit me back the $35.
Has anyone with this error successfully been able to do this without going to the store?

im on the phone app and chatting with customer service and they siad that i am eligible for a free line and am now in the process of adding the line
They might end up saying "Sorry, I've just checked and you are actually not available." I'm on a military plan currently and it happened a couple of times to me.
