Good deal. Just wish I could see the colors. Not updating on Costco site for me. Anyone else?

20% polyester… gonna pass
what's wrong with that for a place mat? i thought polyester is bad only if you wear it.

Nice price. (Nicer if you could toss them in the wash!) The likelihood of spilling something is directly proportional to how light and unwashable the placemat is! Smilie

Are those black spots design-coloring or actual holes? As in, if you spill liquid will it go through the gaps or just puddle on top?

That's part of the design, I bought these for $20 last year, holding up well, cleans up easily by rinsing in sink and quickly dries.

Only light blue in my area (Chicago suburbs). Looks like the plastic weave ones I bought at Big Lots. Pass for the color and price.

I got these a week or two ago at Costco and I think they were about $14 on clearance. I thought they were perfect until a paper plate with some cooked meat on it was apparently so hot that it left a weird white stain on my wood table. Apparently they're not heat resistant so you'll need to use a trivet for anything that's hot.

They're completely see through. Anything you spill on them goes right through. It's like a screen door

I hate these mesh type doormats. Stuff gets stuck in the crevices and dries up and hard to clean. Or else liquids would go right thru to the table.

What is bad about wearing it? It's very warm and dries quickly. A lot of my thermal undershirts are made with it and it performs great, lasts and is inexpensive.
