Have both of these set and I have never ever used the Irwin tool. It's worthless it's big and bulky I recommend not buy it. Buy the socket set it's way bettter.

I have never seen these tap holders before, seems interesting. Just thought I would throw the set I enjoy out there since its just a simple 2 piece adjustable.

It says "This does not fit
2005 Pontiac Grand Prix"
So I guess I can't get it 😢
These are super handy but agree that it is only certain situations you should be using these. It's very easy for you to put a non-uniformed pressure on the tap.
Have these and glad I did. paid about this much years ago so you prob won't be at this price. I keep a small 1/4" breaker bar and 3/8 adapter with them.
Seems like a tool you would never (or almost never) use. But if you did need it one day it would be a life saver. If it is a high quality, made in the USA tool, I'll bite.
Most reviews say made in USA, but some say China.
Might order a set and if it is made in USA keep it, if it is made in China return it.
I've had a few instances where this tool would have saved me tons of headache and cut up knuckles. I had no idea that this even existed. Lisle makes some quality tools and when I tried to find a comparable tool (with similar ratings), the competition was only $4 (as of now) cheaper. Makes this a no-brainer purchase

I guess this is cheaper than the recent price history but certainly not a slick deal.
