Free is free, so no complaints there, but you can also buy 4g Arctic MX-4 for $5. It well reputed and stated to last a minimum of 7 years. Just something for consideration.

Would this be good to affix a copper wire to a pad on a very small circuit component that is too small to use a solder gun for?
No, this is not adhesive. They have contact glue but not sure how well that would work either since if it's hard to solder it must be very tiny area then.

Yea I need to solder this wire, but the area is so small, any heat contact from a solder gun will melt the components. I need some kind of adhesive. I heard some people using flux and then putting the entire component on a hot plate to non-contact solder it to the pad. Not sure if that's my only option

This might be one of the options but solder paste tiny drop with small nozzle heat gun might also be a solution if done by experienced person Check this out! https://a.co/d/fnAPAWW
Hot plate might desolder other small components if they're smaller than what you're trying to connect especially if wire is involved since it won't heat up to that extent before rest of the board will (area exposed to heat will be very small)
Last time I did Enermax's rebate for FAR fans - it all went smooth sailing for me. I received my Venmo payment within the timeframe I expected. That being said, you should always keep records of your rebates - and scan them before you mail them. I personally just scan them on my phone before I mail them.
It technically isn't "free", since you still need to pay for a stamp and most states have a form of e-commerce sales tax now. However, extra thermal paste should always come in handy - especially when doing some deep cleaning on PCs.
I miss the good old days of TigerDirect and 4myrebate - where I would have a constant stream of packages from all my rebates. It would feel like Christmas every day. Thanks OP!

No. You'd want a thermal epoxy, not thermal paste, if you just need to attach the wire and need it to transfer thermal energy.
If you want it to be electrically conductive, then it won't work.
