For me, I changed my password to my account to a temp value and provided that to the person I got the sub from. Sub was added it to my account by the seller.

Please do NOT just send people a link to the T Mobile offer for their Amazon Gift Card. Someone did that just now for me, and when I go to the link, it is asking me for my T- Mobile phone number to register the acccount, which of course I do not have. Last year, I was given a verified and working account, and was able to log in on my desktop and verify it right away. Since I don't have a working T-Mobile phone number, I'm not sure how I can successfully enter the info at the link given and register.

You could do that, or...
Copy the URL string directly from offer and send it to someone. They copy and paste into chrome on laptop like I just did. I clicked "Watch Now" and it sent me to MLB website where I was already logged in to a regular free account. It instantly said under "Manage Subscriptions" ... "View what MLB products you are currently subscribed to MLB.TV T-Mobile 2023 You are currently subscribed to MLB.TV Yearly. Your subscription will expire March 1, 2024."

There also is an issue when using a phone with the MLB app installed. It may need to be uninstalled from the phone in order to end up with "the URL string directly from offer". Once URL string is in hand you can trade/acquire it. ​
