Consider using a lower dose of melatonin if it still helps you, all the way down to 0.5mg or so.

Nice deal. Melatonin doesnt make me sleep faster, but it does keep me asleep all night instead of tossing and turning, unless I have to use the bathroom.

I've been taking 1mg natrol strawberry dissolving tablets at nightand it doesn't do much. It doesn't help me go to sleep faster, but I do seem to have a deeper sleep. should I increase the dose or go for another brand?

Yes it's crazy how high the dosages are on some of these. .5-1mg should be effective enough for people. It's not going to knock you out so don't expect it to

After a week or so of taking it every night I start having some freaky dreams. Now I only take it when I am changing shifts.

I take half of a 1mg gummy so technically 0.5mg. I also take a capsule of Ashwagandha. That combo helps me sleep on nights I need to work. I'll pass on 3mg. But good deal.

Same. I have some very weird dreams even on low dosage. We have 3mg tabs and I cut them into 4 with a pill cutter (so only 0.75mg). Still gives me weird dreams and sometimes foggy/headache in the morning. I don't like to take them and think they should be taken sparingly.

Very good deal but the sublingual ones are more effective at getting you to sleep faster.

a good quality Zinc Magnesium supplement will help you sleep better and is better for you than Melatonin. If you take Melatonin, take the lowest dose that works and don't take it long-term.

I had the same thing happen when I first started taking it. For me, it was short-lived and now that I've been taking it for months, my dreams have gone back to normal.
