Coupon works on similarly priced Tums Smoothies Extra Strength (60ct), which are much less chalky.

I went with the smoothies. Thx OP.

Just my opinion, but once you go Tums Smoothies, you'll never go back — far superior texture (unless you prefer the hard crunch of chalk).

Raise the head of your bed by 6in. For the longest time, I had persistent sore throat. Tried to treat it with ppi for almost a year, made no difference.

Then decided to raise the bed by 6in. Within a week or two, the problem went away. I wasn't expecting anything so I'm surprised this worked.

Sadly I didn't get the coupon. Guessing I used it a week or two ago on some chewy Tums that were on sale (never tried them before, they weren't anything special).

Right now I sleep with a medcline [medcline.com], which is an expensive wedge pillow to raise the top of your body, and also allow a place for your arms to go (if you're a side sleeper like me). BUT I've also raised the head of the bed, too. I only did it 3.5" though, just because that was the width of a 2x4". I cut one diagonally so it made basically a giant wedge shape from 0 to 3.5" over the length (8 feet). Then I took the mattress and box springs off our bed frame, took out the cross-slats, and put the 3.5" wedges on each side of the interior side of the lip that carries the weight of the mattresses, then put the slats back, etc. I did this so the slope would be more gradual than if I'd put something between the mattress and box spring. Also I don't think doing that would be great for the mattress or your back.
