Yes, it's better than the Intel integrated graphics and lets you tackle some video-intensive apps at better framerates. But it's an old card at this point.

What graphics cards do the 8th gen have? I see some with i7-8000 with really weak Nvidia P### something or a weak AMD Radeon Pro WX 2100, or a P1000 which is the same as the M2200 in the current ad's laptops.

Kid wants to play Minecraft and Fortnite (not pro-level competition). Also wants to do some light editing of drone videos. Been watching for a year and can't figure out if something like one of these would fit the bill.

Almost every review of any computer has responses of , "you need a next-gen 3060xyz graphics card and a RGB liquid nitrogen cooled rig to edit word documents. Just spend the extra $8k and get yourself something better".

just need something to play basic games. The kid has an Xbox series X, so really just something for light Minecraft mods and other stuff you need a PC for.

It will work fine, video editing will take little longer. Worse you let it run over night.
