You could but I don't see why you would, with synthetics you can go 10k between changes and I wouldn't want to push a filter past that. In my case I change my oil yearly because I'm nowhere close to putting 10k mi/yr on my truck and with filters being so cheap I change that too I mean $30/yr ($20 for 5qts synthetic oil + $10 napa gold filter) is pretty cheap insurance.
Impossible, you can't use this tool to suck out oil from your car. You can use this tool to suck out your old power steering fluid, brake fluid, clutch fluid, & windshield wiper fluid though. Or use it to put back your transmission fluid(if it doesn't have a dipstick) or differential fluid.

Forgot my ignorance but can this be used to extend time between oil changes by sucking out old oil and replacing with new? I know the filter needs to be replaced but I figure that could be a longer interval than oil change??? Any guidance is appreciated

I've seen a few "oil change" places that use suction to remove the old oil. But these are commercial machines made to do that. I have a similar hand pump, but I would never use that to change my oil, way too tedious and would need a longer hose to get to the bottom of your oil pan.

Something like this might work-
(thinking it's way simpler and quicker and more effective just to pull the oil pan plug)

I've used a device like the last one on the list in your link, the $28 Performance tool pump to change oil on a boat with an inboard 302 Ford. It was very difficult to reach the oil plug, and no place to put the drain pan, and without the pan the only option was to dump the oil in the bilge which was not an option. The pump got the job done but it was slow (warming the engine first made a speed difference). I wouldn't do it for a car or truck, no way unless it was the only option, and the suction gun in this thread isn't even close to being an option.

It actually depends on your model. I have a Jag XJ, and under the oil cap is a small, steel tube that runs to the sump just for the purpose of vacuuming the oil. I use one of the $7 fuel transfer pumps from Harbor Freight with a zip tie to do it.

In for 2, One for changing oil on lawmower and snowblower - much cleaner and fast. One for changing car steering/brake fluid. Changing car oil will be faster traditional way.

This would be perfect for a lawn mower, generator, etc. depending on the model. But for a car, dunno about that.

think I'll stick with a manual hand punp unit. can't see any use for this as I only have one car that need fittings greased.

edit, oh the video show's something totally different. geez.
