You can not have more than 1 Sapphire card at the same time, and you can not get a new Sapphire signup bonus if you received one on any Sapphire card in the last 48 months.
For anyone debating on whether to go for this, know that the all time high is 100k bonus points, making this a very lucrative opportunity.
You can- I've seen YMMV reports about how many days you need to wait between cancelling and new application though.

Also things to keep in mind:

Use any credits you might have on existing card you haven't used yet.
Insure you move your UR points to a different card before closing old one.

Is it still possible to sign up for both CSR and CSP at the same time and receive both SUB?
No, chase only allows one sapphire card at a time and you can only earn a sapphire bonus once every 4 years.

Boss, I've had my reserve for 5 years. Can I call and ask for the bonus? Or I would have to cancel the card and reopen?

You can't get a new card bonus without opening a new card.

If you've had the CSR for 5 years you'd need to downgrade it to a non-sapphire card (or cancel it, but downgrade is marginally better as a path in most case as already discussed) and then apply for this CSP offer.

Note this means you would not have a CSR (or the benefits that come with it compared to the CSP) for at least 1 full year.... So be sure to:

Use any currently available but unused CSR credits first
and
Be ok with not having access to the extra stuff CSR gets you for that year (1.5x in the portal, priority pass membership, different PYB options, lower spend earning rates in some categories, etc)

After the 1 year if you want the CSR benefits back you can always product change the CSP to a CSR- but Chase does not typically allow PCs in the first year of a new card.

Damnit. I just signed up for this card less than a month ago with the regular 60k after $4k...

Is it possible to talk to the bank about adjusting to this promo?

Question/advice:

I've had my CSP for many years now. Also have a Freedom. What's the best way for me to take advantage of this? Close my current CSP?
Throwing in my experience at a branch today.
I've had the CSR for 4 years and recently closed it on Feburary 19 last month. I went in today on March 21 to see if I could get the card, but the banker told me to try and come back tomorrow. He gave a call to corporate and they said I should be eligible after 30 days. I made another appointment for tomorrow (31st day) March 22 to see if I'm eligible for the card. Will report back!

I just tried signing up for this card at a branch and was told to come back tomorrow and try again!

I just cancelled my CSR last month on 2/19. Today 3/21 would be the 30th day since Ive closed the account. Will report back tomorrow! They said usually I need to wait 30 days for account to clear. So will try on the 31st. I was told that I am pre-approved, it's just that their system wouldn't let them select a Sapphire card.

I confirmed in my historical statements that the last time I got the bonus was in February 2019.

Message them on your account or call, they will probably match the offer.

You could have just downgraded to another no annual fee card and saved the hassle.

I am planning on using this offer but if the CSR happens to come out with a bigger bonus shortly after, that would suck.

Missing this one because you hope they'll bring back a 6 year old offer would suck more.

AFAIK the highest SUB ever for CSR was 100k, and they haven't offered that since 2017, so it seems highly unlikely you'll see a bigger bonus than this 90k CSP one on CSR.

Fair point, I did the CSR 100k bonus a long time ago. If they never went over 100k then this is a great offer.
