You can not have more than 1 Sapphire card at the same time, and you can not get a new Sapphire signup bonus if you received one on any Sapphire card in the last 48 months.
For anyone debating on whether to go for this, know that the all time high is 100k bonus points, making this a very lucrative opportunity.
You can- I've seen YMMV reports about how many days you need to wait between cancelling and new application though.
Also things to keep in mind:
Use any credits you might have on existing card you haven't used yet.
Insure you move your UR points to a different card before closing old one.

Yesterday I drove the 30 miles to my nearest chase branch and was told I have to make an appointment (Which seems to only be at 9am, which I can't do because I work) or come on Saturday when it's first come first serve.
Not sure I'll ever get around to this now. Maybe waiting will pay off when CSR has a promo
I am not sure if due to the accounts i have with them, tenure, and the financial history i have built with Chase that helped in my favor. The email reply i received was from an actual person who took the time to look at my account, and provided analyzed data that couldnt have come from a canned response. Maybe its on a case by case basis as they definitely looked through my account.. im not sure.
I think I agree with you, it's probably because of your relationship with Chase. For me, it's my first account with them (I wanted to get Mortgage from them but the agent never called me back)
I have replied them back, let's see; otherwise I will just live with it.
I applied for the card in branch a couple of days ago (make sure to call ahead because appointments may be necessary) and received it today. However they somehow messed up my name on the card. Instead of Firstname Lastname it shows as Mr F Lastname. Has this happened to anyone else before? I have multiple other Chase cards which do not have that problem, and makes this issue all the more confounding. In my mind the only variable that changed is that this is the very first time I applied through a branch instead of online.
The branch and central CS are pointing fingers at each other but neither has so far been able to figure out why it turned out that way. Now I have to fill out some sort of legal name change form.

Is there a reason you don't want the name appearing that way? I have a long first name, so my first name is initialized on most of my cards and shows up as 'F Lastname'. Never had an issue.

you can make appointment online. I got an appointment for the next day. I opened the card today and they told me they expect this bonus offer to stay on for a few more days at least.

I was just editing my post to address this . It's not a huge deal but when I applied for the card, I was asked for two forms of ID. I only had my license and one other credit card with me. The irony is that the Preferred card would probably not have sufficed as that 2nd form of ID because it does not spell out my full name. The other thing I was wondering about is whether I have to list F Lastname when I make online purchases, especially if the billing address for certain retailers might already have Firstname Lastname saved.
These are all minor inconveniences at best, but I'm just curious about why it was issued that way. It wasn't an option that was presented to me, and I have two active chase cards that list my full name, so I know it's not a space thing. Just a little weird that they went that route.
Went to the branch and the rep took my info and on the last page, there was no offer for this. Do you need to be pre approved for this offer to show up?

Same happened to me. I had done a product change of my Sapphire brand to Freedom two days prior and went in today. No luck. The rep tells me that you have to wait 48 months after closing to apply again, which was totally out of whack. I will wait a few more days before trying again.

Is that supposed to show anywhere the chase website or app?
