You can not have more than 1 Sapphire card at the same time, and you can not get a new Sapphire signup bonus if you received one on any Sapphire card in the last 48 months.
For anyone debating on whether to go for this, know that the all time high is 100k bonus points, making this a very lucrative opportunity.
You can- I've seen YMMV reports about how many days you need to wait between cancelling and new application though.
Also things to keep in mind:
Use any credits you might have on existing card you haven't used yet.
Insure you move your UR points to a different card before closing old one.

I applied 2 weeks ago and received card with 60k points, is there a way to get this offer now.
I am also in the same situation. I have contacted my branch as well as Ccare and neither will adjust or match. I was told by ccare that i could cancel the card and re-apply to receive the bonus. I also send a SM to Chase to see if they could do anything; however, it seem very unlikely at this point.
From other comments, as long as you havent received the bonus yet, it seems you can either downgrade the card or cancel it and re-apply. However, this does cause another credit pull and im not sold on if its worth my time. These methods i also dont guarantee- just what i have heard/been told.

My wife applied as primary 2 weeks back and got 60K points. We asked the same and the agent suggested I can take the card as primary at branch and get 90K points and then cancel the wife's card which was approved 2 weeks back.

Why would you do that? I am in the same situation.
Why not just have your wife keep the card and get the 60K, and you apply and get the 90K? You can transfer the points into a single account.
I applied a few weeks ago for 60K, I added her as an authorized user (which for some reason they did an equifax pull, or maybe it was because she transferred her points from her Reserve credit card to my new account - we are going to cancel the Reserve and save the high fee). Any way, I don't think they will offer me the 90K,
I will have her go to the bank and apply / downgrade to the Preferred card, and then she can get the 90K.

We still have to spend 6K on each cards to get those points. I am not sure if both of us will be able to reach that.
If I applied this year, next year i apply for the CSR. Will it be approved? (supposed that good credit score like 800+) just wonder about the 5/24 rule thing.
TIA
As a follow up, i did receive a response to my Chase SM message that i sent yesterday. They replied and they are willing to match the new promotion as long as eligibility requirements are met- never received bonus previously, account not in default, and meet spending requirements.
Part of email reply: "Once you meet the required spend, please reply to this email for us to review your account and we'll be glad to match the new offer to your current offer. We'll post the original bonus points to your account within six to eight weeks after the billing cycle in which you qualify."
Previously i was denied matching from both the branch i signed up at as well as 2 different calls to Sapphire customer service.

This is positive news. Just a question - what area / topic did you select in the the SM message area to send this request?
Just now stepped out of the bank, the rep told me that you have to wait 48 months since you close to apply for another sapphire brand card. I did a product change of my sapphire to freedom flex couple of days ago. I asked her if what she says is true as my understanding was that you it would be 48 months since you open and get a bonus.
She showed me the screen and none of the Sapphire brand cards were even showing on the screen.
I walked out but think what the rep told me was true.
Can anyone confirm? Did I have to wait a few days/weeks to apply?

I had applied for the card just 2 weeks back, on 8th March. Had I known this offer would go live, I would've waited. I told Chase the same on the SM, unfortunately, they said they won't honor this offer for me.
I have replied back to them but dunno if they will. What else can I do about this? Shall I call them or go to the branch?

I am not sure if due to the accounts i have with them, tenure, and the financial history i have built with Chase that helped in my favor. The email reply i received was from an actual person who took the time to look at my account, and provided analyzed data that couldnt have come from a canned response. Maybe its on a case by case basis as they definitely looked through my account.. im not sure.
