You can not have more than 1 Sapphire card at the same time, and you can not get a new Sapphire signup bonus if you received one on any Sapphire card in the last 48 months.
For anyone debating on whether to go for this, know that the all time high is 100k bonus points, making this a very lucrative opportunity.
You can- I've seen YMMV reports about how many days you need to wait between cancelling and new application though.
Also things to keep in mind:
Use any credits you might have on existing card you haven't used yet.
Insure you move your UR points to a different card before closing old one.

Is this a new rule? Some of us have 2 different sapphire cards tho, obtained within 2 yrs of each other.
I got instant approval. The card is already showing in my my chase account profile.
This is definitely better than the 100,000 bonus points from the Sapphire Reserve with a $500 annual fee from 2 years ago.
Not really though? First, the annual fee was only $450 when they originally had a 100 bonus for CSR.... and you got a $300 travel credit so net was only $150.... vs $95 for CSP. And you got 10k more points for your $55 extra in net fee... PLUS you ALSO got:
25% more value in the portal, you got a $100 TSA/GE credit, you got priority pass membership including restaurants, you got 4 free roadside assistance calls, you got higher value purchase protections and travel insurances, and you got higher PYB values.
In more recent years you also got a bunch of credits from things like instacart, doordash, etc as well.
Even at $550 now for the AF the CSR would be the better choice for anyone who travels much if the signup bonus were 100k rather than the 60k it is, vs. this deal at 90k- especially if you can get decent value out of the instacart and DD credits.

Can I downgrade the credit card to a no annual fee card at the end of first year?
Yup. Wait for the 2nd annual fee to post, then you can call (or secure message) chase to downgrade to a $0 AF card, and they refund the fee.
Transfer the points to an airline. I did a biz flight from US to Spain for 2. 136k miles and would have cost 9k cash
I believe when we transfer the points from CSP to an airline, after that these points do not have expiration date right?
BTW, I just joined the awardtravel group.
Thanks!

That I am unsure. Rule of thumb is only transfer when you are about to use them. They can't be transferred back. More flexibility with the phones in UR than an airline for example.
