You can not have more than 1 Sapphire card at the same time, and you can not get a new Sapphire signup bonus if you received one on any Sapphire card in the last 48 months.
For anyone debating on whether to go for this, know that the all time high is 100k bonus points, making this a very lucrative opportunity.
You can- I've seen YMMV reports about how many days you need to wait between cancelling and new application though.
Also things to keep in mind:
Use any credits you might have on existing card you haven't used yet.
Insure you move your UR points to a different card before closing old one.

My case is pretty similar as yours. After downgrade you should wait for at least 4-5 business days before re-apply. Since the 90k branch promotion will be ended in the 05/25/23 your best bet is Wednesday (05/24/23) don't wait until last day, save sometime to yourself just in case the application got rejected and you can call reconsideration line 1888-609-7805 to provide additional explanation. And yes, if you are able to get it approved you will be qualify for the welcome bonus. Good luck!
I went in and the offer didnt show up for me in branch. The banker tried to call Chase and they told her I had to wait 30 days for the inbranch offer. So I applied online and got approved. Oh well lol.
is this offer still valid ? i am seeing only 60K points in online but if i go through chase bank account login there it is showing 80K points only but nowhere 90K points though

Hello Pickle,
Read the deal details again. Completely!!!
Site is still showing 80,000 points. Signup in-branch for additional 10,000 points after an additional $2,000 spend (in six months total), following the $4,000 in three months for the initial 80,000.
You will not see anything in your account/online that indicates the additional/extra 10,000 points. Speak with the associate to confirm.
This "deal" was meant to end today...first thing in the morning...so you better get shakin' bacon.
i noticed the website is showing 60K points now. I generated a referral link this morning and that link is still showing 80K bonus. Is it safe for my referral to sign up for 80K points?

If the referral link shows 80k that's what they will get.

While in the process to apply, I refreshed the link in another browser and it says 60K now. Hmm...don't think i'll risk and will try to go into the branch.

Just tried it with my referral link and it says offer no longer available and defaults to 60k. So yes, it looks dead.
On the 25th it showed up as 60k pt bonus, so i assumed the promo expired .. logged into my account this morning and I see I'm pre-approved with the 80k point bonus again.
