You can not have more than 1 Sapphire card at the same time, and you can not get a new Sapphire signup bonus if you received one on any Sapphire card in the last 48 months.
For anyone debating on whether to go for this, know that the all time high is 100k bonus points, making this a very lucrative opportunity.
You can- I've seen YMMV reports about how many days you need to wait between cancelling and new application though.
Also things to keep in mind:
Use any credits you might have on existing card you haven't used yet.
Insure you move your UR points to a different card before closing old one.

Thanks. Can I downgrade before the anniversary to avoid the AF?
No (you can't downgrade until you've held the card 1 full year), but you can downgrade within 30 days of the annual fee posting for a full refund of it.
I referred my wife for the 80k offer and she got her 80k after the $4k spend. Also, I got the 15k points on my account. Now to book our upcoming vacation travels using the points.

Thanks again. I just got myself the CFU. After I get the SUB bonus for this card, I'll probably get one of the Venture cards, then I'll be set for a while at 4 cards since January. I'll leave one slot open for 5/24 in case a killer offer comes up.
Is it true that other banks (besides Chase) don't necessarily use the 5/24 rule?

Each bank has their own, often quite different, rules... 5/24 is specific to Chase.
i spend 6k almost immediate, tracker shows 4k only. So i guess need to spend the 2k between 3 to 6 months?!
I spent $6k immediately. Initially I only got 80k points, but this billing cycle (6/28) I got the extra 10k points (posted as "New Cardmember Bonus"). I didn't spend a lot extra after 3 months.

Decent overview by issuer is here, but always double check for any more recent info for a specific card/issuer before applying:

I'm not seeing the 80k online? Just 60k?
