It's a double edged sword. Do I think these will ship? No. Have I received things from prior PMs that I didn't expect to ship? Yes.

Sometimes companies offer compensation for the inconvenience of a cancelled order, so there is that aspect as well (usually it's nothing great, but sometimes it is).
