If this were posted as '6-tool kit for $138' (after returning the 2 battery set), it would be ok.

2x 2ah batteries are not worth $80 tho.

$40 max because Ryobi batteries are almost always available at $10/Ahr, and have been as low as $5/Ahr.

Is it possible to return only the 2 battery set and keep the 6 tool kit alone? Or if there is a way to cancel only the 2 battery pack alone to get it for $138?

It showed up as two individual items in the cart for me, but sometimes they change it. As long as it is individual items when you check out, you can return them individually. That is the "hack" that you will see people often referring to.

Not really the same as it's missing TWO tools and bit set, but still a good deal.

I bought this on Tuesday and it arrived today. It shows up as two separate items and I can return them separately. YMMV though.
