If I didn't already buy the matte black with floyd rose for $199 a couple months ago, I'd probably get this.

Finishing isn't great, but it's good enough for a $200 guitar. The pickups are well regarded at this price range as they are actually usable compared to something like low end Harley Bentons. The neck is very comfortable to me. I had to warranty one for a defective bridge pickup. Fender replaced it in 2 weeks, but I had to take it to a music store. The second one I got had a little rough finish on the neck so I sanded it a little with some 1000 grit sandpaper to get it slick. The fingerboard comes dry and needed a little mineral oil which made it way better looking.

Most importantly it plays very well. It's crazy that you can get such a functional instrument at this price.

Probably just "Jackson Series".

According to the listing it's short for JS32Q DKA HT.

I grabbed the green quilt one a month or two ago. It's alright. I really like Jackson necks when the frets aren't razor blades. Only real complaint on this was the pickups aren't great and microphonic without a lot of volume. Still a fun guitar and well worth the price.

You might need to some filing to get your strings to seat properly, I have some guitars in drop B. 13-58. You can get by without filing but your strings wont seat properly on the low end. You might need to do some bridge adjustments too. It's not hard. Just labor of love.

Important notice to beginners,
I picked similar Jackson with floyed rose last month
It was pain to tune the guitar , it was always going out of tune.
As a beginner all I want is a guitar that stay in tune And I can focus on playing and learning the guitar
All I was doing is watching YouTube on how to setup floyed rosé bridge.
I returned it and bought myself fixed bridge.

Is this set up like really good? I don't play basic 3 chord stuff so I have to have guitars that have super low action an are easy to play. I see a lot of "professionals" selling the cheap versions of brand that sponsors them as if some average person could pick it up an play bheetoven on an average guitar an this is a flat out lie. (coming from bands like dragonforce who were caught on camera a long time ago not able to play their own music with good gear I expect to hear such tall tales but not from average players. )

I have the JS32 DKA with Floyd Rose licensed bridge. so that's what I can speak to.

The neck is the shining light on this guitar. It's equivalent to what you'd expect on a high-end Jackson. It is very easy to play. Action is low-ish, but I have not attempted to push the limits to see how low it can get. The pickups are plenty capable, but they are intended for high gain rock and metal. It's not a telecaster. For metal, you are almost always on the bridge to enable artificial harmonics. The bridge pickup is very good for that. The neck pickup is basically the same, and it's not very good for strumming stuff. I will soon replace it with a Veyz Sustainiac clone for $120 that will give a sustainer with a single neck sound when turned off.

What you get is a super playable guitar with a Floyd Rose that holds tune. The fine tuners on the bridge are scratchy, so it isn't refined, but it works. The tuners are garbage, but they work, and that's not super important due to a locking nut that negates the tuners. Finishing is not great on the paint or neck sanding, but fret work is good, and the neck is cased, so there is no sharpness there. A little sanding on the neck made it perfect. I got my JS32 DKA for $199, so I have a floyd rose equipped Jackson with a great neck. I purchased a V30 equipped Peavey 6505+ 112 combo with an ISP Decimator noise gate clone for $400. I got a Fortin 33 boost clone for $32 that also serves as a channel switch for the amp. So, for $631 in, I've got a professinal grade rig, including a 60W tube amp suitable for Eddie Van Halen, ready for playing high gain distortion rock and metal at a professional level. It's more capable than most guitarists will ever be.

I'd spend the $400 on an Ibanez RG450 deal if you want better finishing and tone options.

Thanks. May be a good project guitar to use for that

You probably failed to pre-stretch the strings. It's necessary to prevent early detuning issues on any Floyd Rose. Also, after pulling up on the bar, you have to do a small dive to return to tune. This is common on all Floyd Roses. Mine holds tune fine after trying two. Also, this deal doesn't have a Floyd Rose, so it's a non-issue. To me the issues of a Floyd Rose are totally worth it, but if you are switching tunings a lot and have only one guitar, I totally understand why someone wouldn't want one.
