Ugh...you know, it's this kind of reaction that makes people not want to take the time to post deals. If it turns out they made a mistake, or it was a repost, there are more than enough folks ready to point it out. But if it's a newly posted deal, there are more than enough folks ready to diminish the deal or otherwise mention how they got it cheaper 8 months ago.
I apologize for taking the time to post a deal and somehow missing the fact that it had already been posted. In the future I'll think twice about taking the time to post.
They did search, it just didn't show which happens sometimes.
I appreciate anyone who takes the time to try to post a deal. And there's no need to pile on about reposts, if those above would've just flagged it as a repost, the mods would have taken care of it.
If a repost gets a deal in front of me that I might have otherwise missed, I'm all for them! I stumbled upon the deal yesterday while seeing if I could do better online than the local shop that was having an end of the year sale. I'm glad I checked because I was able to score an Arbor Foundation snowboard with boots, bindings, jacket, pants, gloves, hat and bag for cheaper than just the board, boots and bindings at the local shop.

yes, I should have been more clear, Sierra Trading Post but the website name is just sierra.com
I figured as much! I also figured out where it was I ordered my original snowboard from. It was Sierra Snowboards which is now defunct, and I believe The House is the one that acquired them. I wonder what, if any retailer will take the place of The House once they're fully liquidated.
I ordered the Arbor Foundation board and Hemlock bindings for $356 after tax, lol this will get me started to try snowboarding (was going to do rentals but took the plunge instead)
Also to anyone that can't find the accessories/gears, try checking Sierra every so often as I got Smith Prophecy goggles back in Dec for $43
Renting costs add up quick for snowboarding. Unlike skis, it's very easy and safe to do your own setups, so the value of renting a snowboard is even less from that angle. Good choice to make a purchase. Arbor makes quality gear, my son and I have both enjoyed Arbor boards.
However, and also unlike skiing, there are no shortcuts for learning to snowboard. Bad habits are easy to pick up and hard to lose.
If you find you are a natural at it, then go for it! If you find yourself getting frustrated, then take lessons!! I assure you it is money well spent. Some people transition from skateboard to snowboard easily, but there are differences. If you don't have a skateboard background then lessons could be even more useful. Good luck and enjoy!!

That's exactly why I was in the market. I went with my kids on Friday and rented. $32 for one evening rental, and the bindings were junk. Having my own gear will pay for itself quickly and save me additional grief on janky rental gear.
Definitely trickier than skiing though, at least in my opinion. I skied for years and kinda got bored with it, snowboarding is a challenge and makes going to the slopes fun for me again.

FB marketplace is a great resource to pick up gear if you do your research.
Bruh my inseam is 29". The standover height on the fat bike is 30". Do I get one?
The bigger issue is this is a house brand which is now also shutting down and some parts are proprietary it seems like to this bike. Not many but just something to be aware of
There is a Facebook group on these and for now some have raised the flag as a concern of where to get replacement parts
Will that be solved in the future? Most likely but has me holding off (that and my size is $100 more than the 18, guess because more materials used?), presently yes
Wait, this is not electric? Lol how do you even move this thing without powered assistance. I just rode on my friends power assist bike that looks very similar to this and it's pretty nice. I can't imagine pedaling that thing with power off for more than 30 seconds.

I love FB marketplace, but found it not helpful for snowboarding gear. Very difficult to find the right skill level board in the right size, in good shape in this area anyway. Add to that the fact that a lot of the prices for used gear are more expensive than this sale and others on new gear. I did look though!
