I own the AS53 (different Ibanez model in the art core run).
Cons:
- Big. Way bigger than solid body electrics I'm used to. Probably par for the course though when looking at semi-hollows. 🤷
- Action was a little high for my tastes.
Neutral:
- Came with 10s, but I've been thinking about switching to 9s to see how if sound and if playability changes.
Pros:
- Nice acoustic sound and great clean when on amp. Also not super loud when playing softly (I usually play acousticly or on amp w/ headphones).
- Neck is comfortable. Frets were also decent.

Yeah, very nice looking guitar. But must.....not.......buy......another........guitar...........arg
My thoughts exactly. I keep asking myself if I will be kicking myself for passing this up.
Edit: I had $5 of points from a previous purchase and $18.32 cashback from a browser addon. With tax to my door will be $218.28. I should have it Thursday. I have a sweet vintage bigsby I plan to put on it.

It's selling for $349 at Guitar Center, so not as great a deal as Adorama is proclaiming.
The exaggeration isn't from Adorama. The slash through price on this post is from the OP. Adorama shows on the product page: $229.00 You Save:$120.99 (35%) Regular Price: $349.99 Get 229 Reward Points
The lowest price for this guitar used on Reverb currently is $259.99 + $65 Shipping.
The lowest price for this guitar used in the completed listings on Reveb is $200 + $75 Shipping.
Why buy used when you can get it cheaper new?

Your self convincing argument was strong. Congrats on your new guitar. Your research on pricing was also well done.

The absolute cheapest it ever sold and that's USED on Reverb was $180 + shipping (not FREE). So this deal IS a deal, unless you want to wait and see if another used one sells for less SHIPPED.
