You're right. The standard plan doesn't include unlimited data. Most states have a 1.2TB/month soft data cap -- some North Eastern states are exempt from that data cap I believe. From what I understand, users who go over the data transferred per month are given one warning if they go over it the first time. The next months if they do go over the limit, they'll get charged something like $10 overage fee per 50GB, maximum of $100 overcharge fee. See: https://www.xfinity.com/support/a...ceed-usage

However, I am seeing that the Xfi Complete addon is available for $10/month extra bringing the total costs up to $35/month. For $35/month this plan still seems worth it with unlimited data and higher upload speeds (for select regions [reddit.com])***.

If anyone is going with this plan, I do recommend getting this "Xfi Complete" as it unlocks unlimited data caps (as opposed to 1.2TB without it), and it also unlocks upload speeds which for me tested out to be around 115Mbps, as opposed to something much less like 10Mbps without. For me, this add-on is essentially a required item.

For anyone's existing network setup, I actually didn't have to configure and/or make much changes to my network settings either. With Xfinity's gateway, I just logged in and switched to Bridge mode, which essentially made it a modem-only and then connected my router via ethernet wired, and everything worked as per my previous configuration I had with my previous internet service provider.

Try this, log out of your account alltogether. Login to your account, then using a new window click on this deal, then type in the account address to check for deals. Since you logged in on another tab it will say an account already exists. Click on that selection, then scroll to your plan and click "upgrade speeds." The available promotional plans should now appear in the list to browse through.
Yea, I tried that, but it didn't let me order. A few times I was able to make it to the final checkout page, but when I clicked "submit," it just took me to a normal landing page for their 10G ad, and I was logged out of my account.

I just created a new account and placed an order. I got an email thanking for $1 payment, but I haven't received any notification for service or cancellation email for my current plan. Not sure how long it's supposed to take, but I'm hoping I didn't do it wrong lol

ah gotcha, someone mentioned it worked on an incognito window, also read someone else say their old account was auto canceled after signing up for a new one. Let us know how it goes!

did you "upgrade" to the plan while signed into your current account or did you sign up for a new account with the promo?

I was able to apply on my existing account also . For exiting users it's $30 instead of $25 . I posted a thread but it got down votes.

It says, "Using the 10G network".
Does this mean it's not the hardwired coax cable internet? Seems like that would be bad for gamers.
Their underlying Coax Junction box from where they split to multiple households will be 10G. It is their supply not supply to our homes.
I don't think Comcast has >2G connection for end users.

I paid $20 for 800mbps plan after $30 discount with Xfinity mobile and I paid $20 for my unlimited mobile plan with some other lines for $15 with 1G share plan.

How were you able to do this? When I try to change or upgrade plan, it only shows 200Mbps at $45/mo. Did you sign up for the plan before you logged into your account and sign to order the plan in the end?

It shouldn't take too long. I got an 'equipment has shipped' email already and I put the order in this morning around 7 a.m. EST.

what, I didnt understand..
Regarding your earlier post as per OP thread this 25 pricing is only for 200 Mbps. You mentioned 400..400 speed is not on 25$ per this deal.

like others have done, I just canceled my existing service and re-ordered service at the new discounted price under my wife's name. The ease of that process is one of the main reasons I have never regretted cutting the cord. So easy to add/drop service when its just internet using your own modem.

Existing customer here. Was able to order 200mbps with the current login id. Not sure how it will affect my xfinity mobile lines and the ETF for the current plan good till Oct, but took the plunge.
