My wife and I take turns putting the account in our names every 2 years. We just alternate.

You're right. The standard plan doesn't include unlimited data. Most states have a 1.2TB/month soft data cap -- some North Eastern states are exempt from that data cap I believe. From what I understand, users who go over the data transferred per month are given one warning if they go over it the first time. The next months if they do go over the limit, they'll get charged something like $10 overage fee per 50GB, maximum of $100 overcharge fee. See: https://www.xfinity.com/support/a...ceed-usage

However, I am seeing that the Xfi Complete addon is available for $10/month extra bringing the total costs up to $35/month. For $35/month this plan still seems worth it with unlimited data and higher upload speeds (for select regions [reddit.com])***.

If anyone is going with this plan, I do recommend getting this "Xfi Complete" as it unlocks unlimited data caps (as opposed to 1.2TB without it), and it also unlocks upload speeds which for me tested out to be around 115Mbps, as opposed to something much less like 10Mbps without. For me, this add-on is essentially a required item.

For anyone's existing network setup, I actually didn't have to configure and/or make much changes to my network settings either. With Xfinity's gateway, I just logged in and switched to Bridge mode, which essentially made it a modem-only and then connected my router via ethernet wired, and everything worked as per my previous configuration I had with my previous internet service provider.

I guess Comcast doesn't prorate when you cancel? I just got a final bill due on 4/2 for the full price for this month. This may be why some of us still have internet even after we got the cancellation confirmation. I wonder if I can postpone activation of the new account/plan until close to the end of this month?

I don't think this comes with unlimited data
No it doesn't. Have to go for the xFi add on to get unlimited.personally for me 1.2TB is good enough.

Currently a RCN member and was able to lower my bill by threatening to switch to Comcast with this deal. RCN wouldn't give me their new customer offer (300Mbps $20/mo first month free) but they priced matched Comcast (300Mbps $25/mo)
But RCN charges you additional fees (like $13) over their advertised price. Xfinity is not, minus the extra $10 if not linking directly to your bank for autopayment.

They started the 100/200Mbps upload speeds in select test cities last year. It looks like they've started rolling it out in the NE region. I think their plan is to roll out it to other regions throughout the year. However, it'll require xFi Complete.

Supposedly they're going to (or thinking of) dropping the xFi Complete requirement at the end of the year or beginning of next year.

XM added their $500/$800 discount to iPhones (12 and higher) to go along with their current Samsung offer. Plus there's also the free Pixel 6a. So not a bad time to get this Internet offer, add XM for the combo discount, and get a free/cheap phone.

Make sure you use a link from a refer-a-friend with xfinity. If you sign up for just internet, it's a $50 visa gift card right now. I can try to send one if you message me or you might already know someone.
Damn it. I missed this post!!! Thanks for sharing but too late for me now.

Xfinity sucks they keep raising rates and are now over priced again. Never any deals for current subscribers yet rates go up and up and up... Ready to switch but not many options.

If I currently have Xfinity and xfinity mobile will I get penalized if I sign up with this Xfinity offer under my spouse's name? How would I go about linking the xfinity mobile account with the new home account?

I just logged into my account, and clicked 'upgrade speeds', and selected this deal. Was able to purchase it without being a new customer. It took effect basically immediately (lost internet, then rebooted modem/router, and I'm using the new speeds now).
no other settings to change or call tech support after rebooting modem?

What are most of you doing about for TV? Are you able to get this deal and then just add on a TV package or are you using a streaming service like YouTube TV?

had same issue just paid their bill on March 3rd. I chatted with a Comcast rep and they said to ignore the upcoming bill. they said they will also prorate and instead I'll get $37 back.

existing customer here. Spoke to CS and downgraded my 400mbps to 200mbps for $25/month. There is no data cap and the rate is locked down for 2 years with 1 year on contract. Not so worried about the contract as i dont have any other option in my area apart from xfiniity. Was Paying $40 for 400mbps and this looks like a good savings despite the speed cut.
