Completed this deal as an existing customer by changing service into my wife's name. Steps are as follows:

1) Signed up for service on March 14th in my wife's name (created new account in her name and said I'm moving to this address)
2) Received email for cancellation of existing service - they didn't turn off service though, they just extended the cancellation date to March 29
3) Received box on March 15th. Disconnected existing box. Installed new box using Xfinity app. Set up bridge mode since I wanted to keep my setup (https://www.xfinity.com/support/a...ridge-mode). It took a while and I had to cycle the box a few times but bridge mode finally worked.
4) Waited until today to call (March 17) and cancel service. When they send you the cancellation email, they also call you and leave a call back number. I just called that number and told them I need to cancel since the service is transferred to the new account holder. Old account was cancelled.

That's it. I only had internet service with Comcast. I hope this helps someone!

Just adding here that I bought the xFi Complete because I wanted the white modem and the xFi pod and what I received today was an old, black square XB3 with no pod. Chatted with xfinity support and after much whining and begging, I had to accept that the white modem cannot be used with a connection slower than 800 Mbps (at least according to this chat rep) and so I cannot use the white one even if I had it since my service speed is only 200 Mbps. They didn't really want to give me the xFi pod at first and said I should test my connection for 14 days and if I need an xFi pod they'll send one, but I complained that the entire reason I paid extra was to get the white modem and the xFi pod since that is listed as being included with xFi complete, so they told me they'd just go ahead and send the xFi pod. I suppose I'll get that in 1-3 days.

I hate that I received a modem that was released over 6 years ago and feel like I should be able to get something more modern, but it is what it is. I'm getting the $30 ACP credit so I think I'll be paying about $5 total per month for decent internet service. A solid victory overall. As long as I do get the advertised speeds when I test it out later or tomorrow...

Do we have actual confirmation that this promo is ending on 03/21/2023 or is it like a Kohl's sale...Talked to comcast rep said deals usually refresh at the start of the new month, they are not showing an 'end' date, just wondering.

Yes, you can use your credit card to do an early payment without penalty. I did that yesterday.
I thought you would need to use bank transfer to get the $5 discount?

If you do paperless billing and automatic bank transfer payments, you get the $10 discount. If you do paperless billing and automatic credit or debit card payments, it's a $5 discount.

Why did some people say " you can use your credit card to do an early payment without penalty."?

Forgot to add the bank account to get $25 rate. Its showing $30 charge. Anyway, to fix this to get $5 discount?

TIA
Yes, just go into your account payment settings and add your bank account as a payment method and set it to the default.

No. You just need to SET UP automatic payments with a bank account. After that, you can pay with whatever method you prefer and still get the $10 discount. I know this because I've been doing it for the past year.

Frankly I don't know what that person was talking about. I think they misunderstood the original question. It doesn't make sense to me.

I thought xfi complete give max upload speed? Why only 10?
I was told today by a CS person that 10g is just a marketing gimmick, and there is no increased upload speed. 200/10 is what you get.
Lots of bait and switch. XB3 humongous modem, instead of sleek Xb6 or Xb7.
10mb upload instead of 100mb upload.
I recommend that unless you need unlimited data, just get the $25 plan. Use your own modem.
