Maybe I'm in the minority but games don't need to be 30+ hour long slogs to be worth buying, this game is absolutely worth $50 even if it's "only" 12 hours.

agreed, the game is fantastic and the remake is beautiful... 12hrs is plenty for a single playthrough, new game plus is always lots of fun with Dead Space too.

these guys should certainly be rewarded for finally remaking this game.

Hoping these physical sales today means we'll see a digital sale this week. I'd love to bite at this price, but I want digital.

I didn't even know they made a remake no wonder it's so expensive.

Have they said how sales have been for this game? I skipped because I'm not paying $70 for a 12 hour long remake of a game and was hoping sales were bad because of that. Since they did that I won't buy it for $50 now and probably won't even at $40. I would buy at $30 though. They killed hype with the high price and now the next game I'll get is RE4 remake ensuring I lose any interest at all I may have had in buying Dead Space.

The most fun I had with the first game was the second playthrough with just the plasma cutter. Still haven't played this yet, but I'll get to as soon as I beat Miles Morales and Uncharted 4. I'm actually clearing out my backlog. It's really happening

Nothing has been announced yet. It might come to EA Play / Gamepass in like a year

This feels like a wait for $30 deal, even though the reviews have been stellar

Excellent game but $70 is an insult. I joined Gamefly for a month for $1 and played through it 😂

…I mean, that can be said for every single player campaign game. I'm unsure what your point is here.
