This is still a decent price if you don't already have a top you can throw on it since even an IKEA top will be $100 and up.
Edit: The Sumnacon brand is rated for much lighter duty installs (130lbs or less) that's more typical for a computer/small project desk, but, as pointed out in other comments, there are several options in the same price range that use similar construction and support 300-500lbs.

I nearly broke my dang neck trying to keep this thing held up. I tried to piece together some stuff to hold it up and it collapses before I could finish.
Anyway, either have someone hold it up to help you or get something tall enough and sturdy to rest the table on while you install it. Because obviously you can't install it while the table is folded.

This is still a decent price if you don't already have a top you can throw on it since even an IKEA top will be $100 and up.

Still, if you need the 500 pound weight limit and don't have the surface already, the HD set is still a good deal at this price. I bought the Sumnacon brackets for a computer/soldering/drawing desk, so I wasn't anywhere near needing the 500lb limit this one offers.

Are you SURE I have to explain this? It feels extra-stupid, even trying to joke about it. Well, ok.
One would, usually in their head, read and paraphrase as "It says it's made of rubberwood. I would have thought that they would have made it out of something cheap and/or heavy like MDF, particle board, or something else originating in western Mordor."
Mordor? one may then think . . . I don't know where that is, let me google it. OH, it's a fictitious place that sounds dreadful.
