Good battery life. Picked one up for my son to take to college. I've had great experience with Lenovo (and back when they were still made by IBM too)

lol I'm the opposite. Dell died and always struggled with the touchpad issue and made the switch to Lenovo. No problems and like it very much.

c940 is about 4 years old, products have improved a lot. Not saying these are bullet proof, but this has to be a YMMV case.

Lots of lenovo shilling after the first critical post. Guess it's just BAU on Slickdeals. My Thinkpad T495 had tons of touchpad button issues. The service is good, but apparently it's because Lenovo kept IBM's service division in the US. However, they can only do so much. After three touchpad and two keyboard replacements, I've come to understand that it is a problem with the parts aka the manufacturing. I still get missed physical clicks to this day, and while everything else has held up, that touchpad and keyboard issue has left a very bad taste for me to buy Lenovo again, especially from their lower tier consumer grade laptops.

what battery life did you get? I bought one and the battery failed in the first week, they said they put a new battery in, but I am only getting max 5 to 6 hours... and that is with all the lowest cpu, power and display settings.

I bought this for $800 at best buy just before Christmas 2022. One of the battery cells died in the first week. They replaced battery within 10 days. Still experimenting with battery life, but get around 5 to 6 hours, might be able to get more. The screen is very nice/bright/clear, and the case is awesome solid aluminum, very solid. They have deals on extended support, and you can ask them for further percentages off. I got 4 years extended warranty for $70
