Thanks OP, this is a pretty good deal. But I'm much more interested in this LG Gram that's on sale from Costco right now. It doesn't have upgradable memory, but it does have two NVMe SSD slots, which I haven't seen anywhere else. It also has a touchscreen and thunderbolt ports.

I'll be completely honest with you... I'm not really sure. Not much older, but yes, the one in the post is 11th gen cpu and the one in my link is 12th Gen. It looks like the current models are 13th gen, but I'm not sure how long they've been around.Up until a few weeks ago, I had only heard the Gram name, but it wasn't on my radar. I randomly lifted up a display model in Costco and was blown away how light it was. I went to LG's website the other day and they actually show 144 different models. 😳 It seems like a lot of them are older models, though. I sorted through them a bit and compared them to Costco's inventory, where this model stood out a bit to me, but not just because of the discount.
One thing I should point out is that the screen orientation is not standard on the 17" models. I was going right for the biggest sizes until I noticed this. So looking at the 16" isn't actually "settling" for a smaller screen.
