destron is only a couple of bucks off their normal price, and you can get it about the same price on Amazon too, not that their braid seems to be much better than alternatives at around the same price

While I don't agree that every kastking post is a shill, take a look at this particular one as an example. You have someone who never posted anything else posting on their very first post stating that the pricing is reflected in cart, and the staff that posted this listing talking back to it like it's really someone else. someone who oddly has 10 reps with a single post. Pretty fishy. happens often with kastking posts.
Some users don't have a ton of activity but it doesn't make them a shill. I encourage you to MA anything you think is a shill so it can be investigated.

Krome rods? Seem very decent for the current pricing.
Experience with kastking in past is its just the worst garbage yet some items seem to be much better now like whatever their 200 something dollar bfs reel per youtube the reel test and others.. sounds like it's a very nice reel.
So I'm a little torn on thinking about ordering some kromes the nano resin toray banks with fuji alconite and large textured graphite grip rod for $50-$60 in some interesting lengths and actions seems a shame to pass up.
I'm wondering if the 12' casting would make a good surf rod despite its trolling designation.
I haven't used any intentionally specific salmon rods.. and wouldn't use them as such ant time soon would use for inshore fishing for snook, reds, black drum, snappers, maybe some grouper and a shark or three & miscellaneous other.
then thinking about that 12' casting for surf.

Companies that pump up posts and activity on SD get the reputation they deserve, and I appreciate the users that point out that reputation. It's hard to keep track of all of the "questionable" brands that come up here, but "Kast King" is a big offender. If you only went on SD for fishing info, you probably would assume that Kast King was the only brand that made fishing gear.
