Yeah the Target product page is weird. Here's the corresponding product page on Monoprice.com [monoprice.com]

3440x1440 UWQHD Resolution

Still is a great deal though. Thanks OP

So they are going to either send you a 32" 4K monitor or a 34" UWQHD one.

Yeah, this listing is screwed up. I'm willing to bet it's a description error because the photos and specs match the 34" ultrawide. Plus, if you search the UPC it corresponds to Monoprice model 143021 which is the 34" ultrawide: https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=43021

In for one, thanks!

Would this be a good workflow monitor for vertical mount?

If you want a super tall vertical mount monitor, sure. Example of such: https://www.reddit.com/r/ultrawid...ultrawide/

The title of this deal should be edited if it's not a 4K monitor.

Was surprised to see they finally made a 4k monitor bigger than 32 and smaller than 42. Huge letdown.

I meant, are it's specs good enough to use in that type of setup? Seems like a good price for that type of use case monitor...

The main issue that comes to mind is it being a VA panel. Viewing angles are typically worse on that panel type than an IPS, and since the flat panel has you looking at the sides with more of an angle, I wouldn't be surprised if there is color shifting and extra eye strain. You would also need a vesa mount as the stand it comes with isn't built for vertical.

Thanks for the tips. Do you have any recommendations for an IPS panel in this price range/specs?

Most other 34 inch 3440x1440 IPS monitors that I know of are probably closer to the 300-400 range currently. I daily drive the x34 HP flat ips at 3440x1440 144hz 10bit and it's been pretty good (it has a little color shifting near the edges of the screen but nothing too bad). It has gone on sale a few times in the past around the 300 dollar mark, but nothing that low currently.

The AOC U34P2 is a good option for 303 on amazon currently, that's probably where I'd steer you at this time to consider. It's stand also supports vertical out of the box, so you'd save a few bucks in not needing a separate monitor mount. https://www.amazon.com/AOC-U34P2-...W1VM9CXMYR

If you wanted to take a chance on a flat VA panel due to needing the cheapest you can find budget wise, you can find a few Samsung models around the 200 range (walmart in store so YMMV, microcenter, etc). If nothing else, they maybe a slight step above the monoprice one:
