Jellyfin is great but it doesn't have intro skip or credits detection. To say it's significantly better while missing key features Plex has is misleading

Don't see any *significant* difference between jellyfin and plex. Infuse Pro seems great for Apple ecosystem. I'm still running plex on Win 8.1 HTPC streaming to firesticks & smart TVs, ain't broke don't fix it.

Are there any extras that you have to pay for with Plex? Like for the phone app? I'm interested in watching/listening to saved videos/movies, music, and audiobooks. But I"ve never gotten deep into Plex to know if there are a bunch of other costs. I heard you need to pay for the mobile apps, which if you have a lot of users or devices that don't use the same android account seems like a bad thing.

If you have the Plex pass you get everything otherwise you could pay a few bucks for the Plex app on the iPhone I think. I've had it for over 10 years and never got a lifetime so I'm biting the bullet now

I paid $150 when dvr function came out. I was using free for years before that. Still don't regret paying that much. I've gotten my money out of it.
