YMMV. My local Walmart has the WD BLACK 1TB SN850 NVMe SSD with Heatsink for $69.00.
Made for PS5
Brickseek showed unknown for quantity but store had 8 in stock.

If you absolutely need this now, buy away. It you can wait, I think 2TB options will be available for close to $100 by the Fall.
I bet Microsoft are pooping their pants from their decision to use dumb expansion memory cards vs NVMe. History would show that proprietary formats never end well...just look at the PS Vita and those expensive memory cards. Of course they could make things right with a base model revision and pro model.

Walmart.com showed inventory for local stores, went to one that said in stock and it was there

Thanks OP. Been waiting for the SN850X with heatsink to drop below $100 but this drive will work well, especially for $69. Nice! Brickseek said unknown quantity everywhere around me but the Walmart website only had it available for pickup at one store. Went there and grabbed two; there were five in stock.

Yes. It's crazy that this is categorized as a PS5 accessory on Walmart's site, they're just creating confusion labeling it that way. It'll work in anything with an m.2 slot, although for PC it depends on the motherboard if it supports PCIe Gen 4 or not.

I thought heatsink is glued and cannot be removed. If not, I would be interested in this deal.
