For folks asking about the 12 months of service part, all of that is answered in the original thread: https://slickdeals.net/f/16487416-mint-mobile-128gb-google-pixel-7-unlocked-smartphone-12-month-4gb-plan-289-recovery-fee-port-in-required-free-s-h?page=76#commentsHeader

tldr: Needs to be a ported in number. GV works (create a new gmail account, pay google $3 to port out). People who dont care about the 12 months mint service can just discard the activation kit and treat this as a $289 unlocked phone.

Oh - I see it as a non-factor. Most are getting the deal (seemingly) for the good price on the phone. I don't even want the plan shipped with it, was able to flip it for $50 bucks.

news of Pixel 7a has dampened my enthusiasm a little.
I bought this last time it was in stock and sold my 6a to a reseller for like $130ish. So far, I'm loving the 7 over the 6a. Is it worth me spending the extra $200 to upgrade? Maybe not but what I noticed is the Google gives better trade in when doing the same like. Flagship for flagship and a for a. I'd rather go 8 when the time comes over the 7a so I figured it will all semi even out eventually

I agree. I just asked cause I see them going for a lot less than $50 on eBay.
I sold my 4GB SIM for $70 on eBay 3 days ago. Sold in about 4 hours too. Maybe prices are lower now, not sure.

Good deal. Got in on it last time to upgrade from a 6a. A few nice improvements. Nothing earth shattering, but noticeable. Sold plan for about $65 profit and will probably break even after selling 6a.

It didn't even ask me for a port number? Just checked out for $322 total?

Port number is needed when you activate the sim.

I don't see a place to give a port-in number during ordering. Is this all done after the fact?

edit: looks like it's done when you activate.
