As for ease of use, I started with Paintshop Pro back when it was version 6, in year 2000.
I upgraded versions thru the years, but left off at version X9, in 2017.
For me, it was very easy to use and very user friendly, and greatly easier than what I've used since 2022, which is Affinity Photo.
I STILL haven't figured out so many things about Affinity Photo, so I just picked up Paintshop Pro again (version 2021) for the cheap $12.75 price.
I've never had Photoshop, but I believe my Affinity is far closer to Photoshop.
For me, those have a harder learning curve. At least for Affinity, imo.
It doesn't matter to me that this Paintshop Pro isn't the most recent version, as it's close enough, and does everything I need to do... and so much easier doing it.
I just installed it last night, and once I found the settings to re-enable the sidebar row of editing 'tools', I was back at quick easy editing of some photos I had. Just thought I'd chime in, if you all are still interested.
